Dr. Gopa Mitra teaches postgraduate programs in Fisheries and Aquaculture at the Department of Zoology, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India. Her area of research is the improvement of the nutritive value of natural fish food organisms through bioenrichment. She also works on larval nutrition and physiology of Indian major carps, catfish and prawns.
