Dr. N. Munuswamy is a full professor in the Department of Zoology, University of Madras, India. He has been involved in research and teaching in Aquaculture since 1986. In 1995, European Union (Brussels) awarded him with a major project on "Indian Fairy Shrimps". Recently he won the prestigious TANSA award from the Government of India for his contributions in Biological Sciences. He is actively engaged in research in nutrition and cryopreservation of live feed organisms and received many projects funded by national as well as international agencies.
